On January 30, 2025, the City Council convened to review the proposed User Agreement, and after careful consideration, they approved the agreement between SNM and the City of Winnipeg. This agreement not only facilitates the use of the Pan Am Pool Training Tank for various training and competitive purposes but also underscores the commitment of both parties to promote aquatic sports and enhance community engagement in physical activities. The collaborative efforts put forth during the negotiation process reflect a shared vision for fostering an environment that encourages excellence in swimming and other water-based sports. With this agreement in place, SNM looks forward to leveraging the facilities to support athletes of all levels, from beginners to elite competitors, while also providing opportunities for community programs and events that promote health and wellness.
