The main changes in the manual are summarized below:
- Addition of definitions for classifiers (WPS definition), support staff and World Para Swimming
- Update of 26-27 registration fees
- Clarification of coach requirements within fourteen days of commencing activity as a coach (7.2)
- Addition of section on Support Staff and Classifiers
- Update of Appendix A: Coach Certification to include MED eLearning Module requirements (communicated April 1, 2026)
- Minimum NCCP requirements for coaches registered as Head Coach, Assistant Coach National or Assistant Coach Provincial looking to attend the Canadian Masters Championships
