Selected from a highly competitive slate of candidates, this year’s inductees represent some of Manitoba’s best and brightest athletes and builders, from curling icons and multi-sport masters to a swim guru, an athletics advocate, and a rugby superstar.
“This exceptional group of inductees has made a tremendous impact on their sports through their talent, spirit, and drive,” said Jeff Palamar and Don MacDonald, Co-Chairs of the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. “They elevated those around them through displays of perseverance and success. This incredible class of 2026 has earned the thanks and recognition of all Manitobans for setting such an inspiring example by their achievements.”
“This induction reminds us of the incredible depth of talent and character in Manitoba sport,” said Evan Andrew, President & CEO of Sport Manitoba. “From rinks to pools to courts and fields, this year’s inductees have elevated their sports and given back to the communities that shaped them. We’re proud to be adding their names to the Hall of Fame and can’t wait to celebrate their contributions.”
