Following the cancellation of the Western Canadian Championships, many in our community expressed the need for a competition to bridge the gap between Provincial Championships and Nationals.
The Western provinces are excited to launch the Best of the West Fest, an annual gathering that unites the West and offers athletes a high-quality competitive opportunity each season.
For its inaugural year, this meet will be organized in collaboration with the 4 Western provinces and hosted by Swim Manitoba at the Pan Am Pool, April 23-26, 2026. The full meet package will be made available in the coming weeks, with the hopes of having the meet posted by December 5, 2025.
