The SNM Office is accepting nominations for the following Coaching Awards to be announced at the SNM Annual Awards Banquet:
Developmental Coach of the Year:
“The Developmental Coach of the Year Award is based on activity over the last twelve months and is presented to the Coach for achieving excellence in developing athletes, promoting swimming as a sport for life, and inspiring athletes to attain the highest level of individual success.”
Among the criteria, the committee will consider:
• Proven track record of athlete success
• Innovative coaching techniques
• A commitment to continuous learning
• The ability to foster a positive learning environment
Note: Any exceptional achievement will be taken into consideration.

Eric Suthon Memorial Award:
This award is intended for a junior coach who has demonstrated excellence in coaching at the fundamental or grassroots level. The committee will consider the following criteria:
- Coach at grassroots, fundamental level (12 and under)
- Coach swimmers at the Junior Provincial Championships
- Number and new qualifiers at Junior Provincial Championships
- The improvement of their swimmers during the last season
- Their implication in their club or provincial activities
