In July 2025, the Swim Natation Manitoba Board of Directors approved a SNM Club Policy. This policy outlines all the necessary criteria for both new and existing Clubs to annually affiliate with SNM. Since SNM Club memberships do not automatically renew, Clubs are required to complete the affiliation process at the beginning of each sport season. For the 2025-26, this process will be conducted through REMS and will be accessible in the first week of September.
The approved SNM Club policy does not introduce any new requirements for the Clubs; it simply documents the necessary information for affiliation within a policy. As noted in the SNM Club policy – SNM is a non profit organization that has a mandate to support approved SNM member clubs that also maintain non profit status.
The SNM Office has developed a checklist to help gather the necessary documentation for submitting your Club application via REMS. We have also included several policy links in the checklist to assist in creating your documentation if necessary.
